Recommended Books
TAP recommends using the following books with your students to help you with your discussions on diversity and on confronting prejudice.
Although there is no separate list for Adult Ed and/or ESL, these books are applicable to those groups as well. Separate lists for these populations were not made as the appropriateness of each film depends on the grade/age and language skills of the students. You, as the teacher, would have the best insight into which books are level- and language-appropriate for your students.
